Why We Incubated Freight Hero

As a team, we've fielded dozens of pitches from founding teams looking to build AI tooling for freight brokerages. Part of our mantra at Dynamo is to remain patient to find the right team and approach based on our domain expertise, networks, and ongoing, customer-centric research.

We are excited to pull the wraps off our incubation of Freight Hero with Andrew Ng's AI Fund. Freight Hero is led by Andre Luis Martins Filho who is a repeat founder in the logistics industry having previously built, scaled, and sold Uello who provided last mile logistics to the Brazilian market.

At a time when the freight economy remains under pressure and is looking for ways to stabilize profitability, AI has emerged as a way to gain operating leverage while maintaining the human element that is central to the trucking industry.
